POSITION: Business Development Manager

About the Position 

As a Business Development Manager, the role involves recognizing new business prospects, cultivating strategic alliances, and promoting the adoption and growth of the Grocery / Retail solutions.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify essential enterprise leads within the Grocery / Retail sector nationwide, while securing and finalizing agreements through the development of solid partnerships with business associates in the Grocery / Retail field.
  • Sustain communication with business partners via multiple channels to assist their development, serve as the primary contact during onboarding, resolve operational challenges, and guarantee exceptional customer experiences. Moreover, it involves examining key performance metrics, establishing growth and marketing strategies, and aligning plans to enhance performance and revenue generation.
  • Oversee budgeting, evaluate performance metrics for enhancement insights, and project growth trends to measure the attainment of business objectives.
  • Formulate and implement operational plans to tackle issues and guarantee seamless activation of business partners, in line with the commercial strategy during growth stages.
  • Remain updated on market trends and competitors while assisting in creating frameworks and playbooks to enhance business practices.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing, product, customer success, campaigns, partner operations, and customer service teams to foster business growth.

Our Expectations About You:

  • You possess a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in grocery or retail business development, account management, B2B sales, or similar areas, along with a demonstrated history of attaining business growth and sales objectives.
  • You are proficient in English and the local language, demonstrating exceptional skill in both spoken and written forms of communication.
  • You possess excellent communication and negotiation abilities to connect with decision-makers and foster lasting partnerships with business allies.
  • You possess robust analytical and problem-solving abilities to utilize data for making decisions and enhancing partner performance via insights.
  • You can swiftly adjust to changes, take initiative in tackling difficulties, and create efficient, solution-focused approaches.
