POSITION: Graduate Trainee Program
Job Summary

GBfoods Africa presents an opportunity through a comprehensive 24-month Graduate Trainee Program that will equip you with practical experience, training, mentorship, and insights across the African market.

At GBfoods, we provide culinary solutions across various countries in Europe and Africa with renowned local brands such as Jumbo, Gallina Blanca, Erasco, Gino, Liebig, Star, Bama, D&L, Grand’Italia, and Blå Band, among others. GBfoods Africa functions in 24 nations with a Regional office located in Accra, Ghana.
Our Mission “Honoring local tastes” aims to uplift and support every local community we are part of and to showcase their true flavors. Certain local brands have been in consumers’ kitchens for more than a hundred years and have established themselves as genuinely cherished brands, as well as integral components of the local culture.
Requirements
What we desire:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science and Technology, Agricultural Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Control and Instrumentation Engineering, Automation Engineering, or similar engineering disciplines. A Master’s Degree in Business Administration or a similar Business program is an advantage.
- Recent graduate (candidates must have completed their degree in 2023, 2024, or 2025) holding a First Class/ Excellent Equivalent or Second Class Upper/ Very Good Equivalent.
- Inquisitive, driven, goal-oriented, and poised to create a lasting effect.
- Proficiency in the English language
- Candidates from Ghana, Nigeria, and Algeria
Skills:
- An attitude of learning, adaptability, and strong problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in the English Language
- Excellent communication skills in writing, speaking, and presentations.
- Capacity to function efficiently in diverse, cooperative settings.
- Enthusiasm for creativity, education, and making a difference in Africa
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities
