Job Title: Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to join our full-time team. This pivotal role within our Housekeeping Department requires a leader who is passionate about maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and guest satisfaction across our property.

Role Overview

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of our housekeeping staff to ensure all guest rooms and public areas consistently reflect our luxury brand standards. You will lead, train, and motivate a dedicated team while managing resources efficiently to support seamless resort operations. This position reports directly to the Housekeeping Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the daily activities of room attendants and housekeeping personnel.
Conduct regular quality inspections of guest rooms, suites, and public areas to ensure adherence to strict cleanliness and presentation protocols.
Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety standards, and the correct use of equipment and chemicals.
Manage inventory of linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies, ensuring all storage areas remain well-stocked and organized.
Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns, delivering solutions that enhance their overall experience.
Identify and report maintenance needs or safety hazards, coordinating swiftly with the engineering department.
Maintain accurate records for room status, lost-and-found items, and supply usage using property management systems.
Enforce all hotel safety, sanitation, and operational policies to protect both guests and staff.

Your Profile and Qualifications

Experience & Skills:

Two to five years of supervisory experience in housekeeping within a hotel or luxury resort environment.
Strong leadership and team motivation skills with excellent attention to detail.
Proficient knowledge of cleaning techniques, safety regulations, and inventory management.
Effective communication, problem-solving, and customer service abilities.
Competency with basic computer software and housekeeping management systems.
Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift items throughout a shift.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Education:

A Degree or HND in Hospitality Management or a related field is required.
