Job Title: Marine Control Room Operator

Key Responsibilities
- Control, monitor, receive, store, and discharge crude oil cargo and slops in accordance with all operating and reporting processes and applicable requirements.
- Ensure the quality of the cargo by reducing the amount of free water available.
- Monitor all traffic in the vicinity to reduce the possibility of a collision.
- Carry out normal and emergency ballasting/de-ballasting.
- Update the Maintenance Management System, enter data, and print task cards as needed.
- Serve as the area authority for the cargo area, except the crane and helideck.
- Plan, monitor, and carry out all tank entry preparations and inspections.
- Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with the Safety Management System, including vessel safety regulations, and actively support all safety initiatives and improvements.
- Actively contributes to the implementation of Health Safety Environment (HSE) goals and improvement targets.
- Be aware of the physical state of plant and equipment to ensure that technical integrity is maintained; report any issues or concerns that arise.
- Ensure that all necessary operational and maintenance information is handed over to relevant people in a safe and comprehensive manner during shift or crew changes.
- Maintain clear communication with supervisors and other work groups.
