POSITION: Indirect Sales Manager

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Planning 

  • Create and put into action a complete plan to sell products indirectly in West Africa to meet business goals.
  • Find chances to sell, look at what competitors are doing, and change plans as needed.
  • Set goals for sales and make sure they are achieved by the indirect sales teams.

Working with Partner Companies

  • Create and keep good connections with important sales partners, like distributors, dealers, and agents.
  • Know what partners need and help them do better and stay loyal.
  • Visit partner locations often and take part in sales activities and events together.

Performance Management

  • Keep track of how well our indirect sales partners are doing compared to the goals and measurements we established.
  • Give training, help, and chances to grow to partners so they can sell better.
  • Hold performance evaluations and put plans in place for ongoing improvement.

Sales Operations

  • Manage the whole sales process through indirect routes, starting from finding potential customers to making deals and finalizing contracts.
  • Make sure that the company rules, steps to follow, and ethical guidelines are being followed in the indirect sales areas.
  • Keep track of sales numbers and make regular reports for the top managers.

Market Research and Analysis 

  • Do market research to learn about trends in the industry, what customers want, and what competitors are doing.
  • Use information from data to help plan sales strategies and make decisions.

Product Knowledge

  • Know the company’s mining tools and services very well.
  • Give technical help and advice to sales partners and their customers.

Abilities, Skills, and Experience:

  • Being good at English is very important; knowing French or other local languages is a bonus.
  • Good at leading teams and managing partnerships.
  • Great at talking to people, making deals, and giving presentations.
  • Skill in creating and keeping good connections with important people.
  • The ability to think ahead and solve problems.
  • Good at using CRM software and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Open to traveling a lot within the area.
