About the Position 

We are seeking a practical Sales Specialist to become part of the Bolt Food team in Ghana. You will be responsible for driving our sales expansion, connecting with potential partners, presenting proposals, negotiating terms, and finalizing agreements for small and mid-sized clients.

In your role as a Sales Specialist, your main duty will involve reaching out to and establishing connections with restaurant partners while striving for agreements that benefit both parties.

Upon forming a partnership, you will help facilitate a smooth transition for the restaurant to the Operations and Account Management team, ensuring an effortless onboarding experience.

Primary Duties and Obligations:

  • Overseeing the sales funnel, which encompasses handling leads, prospecting, making cold calls, scheduling meetings, negotiating, and finalizing deals.
  • Serving as the initial point of contact for new partners, facilitating their onboarding, addressing any operational and administrative challenges, and ensuring the efficient management of existing accounts to attain optimal business outcomes.
  • Collaborating closely with the Operations team to facilitate seamless partner activations, and with the Account Management team to support restaurants in expanding on our platform.
  • Monitoring all sales actions, such as emails, calls, and forthcoming steps, in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to create a detailed record.
  • Reaching growth objectives through boosted sales and fostering strong connections with our partners.

About You:

  • You possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in Sales or a similar area, preferably within the food delivery sector.
  • You are proficient in both English and the local language, and you have excellent communication, negotiation, and teamwork abilities.
  • You exhibit an analytical approach and a deep comprehension of using a range of tools for data management, and preferably, have experience with a CRM.
  • You excel in a dynamic setting, effortlessly tackling challenges and rapidly adjusting to new situations.
  • Your practical efforts show a significant degree of initiative in actively pursuing solutions to obstacles and a robust sense of responsibility.
