POSITION: Sales Advisor

Position Summary 

MSI Ghana is looking for motivated, well-organized, client-focused, and dynamic individuals with the following qualifications and experience in Accra. MSI Ghana aims to satisfy the demands of the underserved while enhancing access to Family Planning (FP) and various Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH) services. At MSI Reproductive Choices, we are unreservedly pro-choice. We hold that every woman should have the right to decide about her own body and her own future.

The Sales Advisor will be tasked with creating and executing plans to meet condom sales goals, tracking results, and pinpointing areas for growth. They will collaborate with distributors, retailers, and field teams to increase market reach, assist with product promotion, and offer market insights to inform the sales and marketing strategies for condoms.

Main Duties

  • Approaches to Boost Sales and Distribution of Condoms and Reporting
  • Formulate plans to surpass a goal of 1.5 million condoms by 2025.
  • Guide the execution and deployment of the strategies with the current team.
  • Collaborate on sales initiatives with team members and various departments.
  • Oversee condom sales activities to guarantee that their execution will achieve the desired sales volumes of the product.
  • Evaluate monthly condom sales in relation to targets and address any discrepancies to guarantee that performance year to date meets expectations at the conclusion of each quarter.
  • Examine the market’s potential, suggest, and implement market strategies that will enhance sales further.
  • Regularly assess the inventory of condoms and notify your direct supervisor when it’s time to reorder supplies.
  • Attain established sales goals and results on time.
  • Monthly Activity Summary.
  • Monthly and quarterly sales performance analysis.
  • Monthly inventory report.

Required Skills or Experience

To thrive in this position, you need to possess:

Understanding, Abilities, and Expertise 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a similar area of study
  • Demonstrated/confirmed expertise in condom sales.
  • Selling abilities
  • Experience and understanding of the private pharmaceutical sector and handling regulated pharmaceutical products.
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Numerically literate and analytical; great attention to detail.
  • Proficient with computers.
  • Capable of working independently and for extended durations.
  • Customer-oriented with strong interpersonal abilities, capable of connecting with individuals at all levels.
  • A pro-choice person who is dedicated to maternal health
  • Inspires team members to provide exceptional service and outcomes, while being capable of giving constructive and truthful feedback.
  • Extremely driven and goal-oriented with a demonstrated history of success in sales.
  • Outstanding sales, negotiation, and communication abilities.
  • Focusing on priority, managing time, and having organizational abilities.
  • Skill in developing and presenting materials customized to the audience’s requirements.
  • Skills in managing relationships and a willingness to accept feedback
