Kwame OB advices Mzvee on Gospel Music

September 20th, 2020 at 02:44 pm

Ghanaian radio presenter, Kwame OB Nartey of Vision 1 FM has adviced Ghanaian female artiste, Mzvee to stay in her lane and shut up if she doesn’t have much knowledge when it comes to the details of Gospel music.

Mzvee has made a statement that someone does not only have to mention Jesus Christ’s name in his or her song before it can be labeled as a Gospel Music.

Mzvee related that because she talks about love and other related things in her song, it can also be termed as Gospel Music.

Kwame OB after noticing Mzvee’s statement has come a bit harsh at her with a rebuttal.

He explained that Gospel music is not just a Christian music but it is inspired by the Holy Spirit.

According to him, Gospel Music is Jesus Christ inspired and it is also the teachings or revelation of Christ.

He continued that love is not Gospel because Gospel Music is endorsed by the Holy Spirit.

He then labeled Mzvee ignorant and advised that she stays in her lane and keeps quiet if she doesn’t know something well enough.

“Let’s just say you didn’t know Gospel music is a genre of Christian music.

Gospel music usually has dominant vocals (often with strong use of harmony) with Christian lyrics. Gospel is the teaching or revelation of Christ.

“A love song is a song about romantic love, falling in love, heartbreak after a breakup, and the feelings that these experiences bring. Love music is not Gospel music, Gospel music is Christ Inspired, vetted and approved by the Holy Spirit.
For you MsVee i see your comment as ignorance so I got you some little definitions from a man made dictionary, I don’t think you will understand spiritual things at this time. Just learn to stay in your lane, it saves you a lot. If you don’t know shut up!” The presenter wrote on Facebook.
