Kwaku Sintim-Misa, the host of the KSM show, has said in an interview that the holy bible is made up of many contradictions.
Speaking to Nkonkonsa.com, he stated that he thinks the writers of the Christian bible treated God as a human being instead of a supernatural being hence giving human attributes.
The Ghanaian comedian wondered how the bible says one thing in a particular book or chapter of the holy book and refute it in another. He cited several examples to buttress his point. He mentioned that it is written in the bible that God knows all things and he is all-powerful but puts Abraham to a loyalty test. To him God should have been able to know how loyal Abraham was without having to test him. KSM stated that God should have foresaw that Abraham would not kill his son. “I have a problem with the bible”, he stressed.
He gave another example that God said he regretted making Saul King, which means that he did not know Saul would not make a good king. To him God could not predict that Saul was not going to be a good king; this also contradicts the fact that God is all knowing. Kwaku Sintim-Misa continued that God got angry in the bible which he considers a typical human attribute. He declared that he has more faith in God than in the bible. In the course of the conversation, he said that people have a wrong interpretation of the “God created us in his own image and likeness” verse. He said this verse has made people believe that God is just like us but that is not the case.
