Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible, candidates must:
- Be an undergraduate, master’s, or doctoral student in Korean Studies at a foreign university (including degree-seeking candidates).
- Possess proficient skills in the Korean language, since all lectures are delivered in Korean.
Fulfill course-related criteria:
- Basic Course (13th cohort, March–June 2026): Available to students with a general foundation in Korean studies.
- Advanced Course (14th cohort, Sept–Dec 2026): Candidates are required to have finished a fundamental Hanmun course or provide evidence of comparable training.
- Must be a foreign national (Korean citizens and graduates are not eligible).
