Essential Requirements
- A PhD received in the last seven (07) years in a pertinent area.
- Intense research emphasis on English literature spanning from 1800 to today.
- Background in instructing undergraduate courses, especially in areas such as:
- Writing London
- Reading Poetry
- Introduction to American Literature
- Writing Race, Writing Gender
- Introduction to Eighteenth-Century Literature: Gothic
- Exhibited research capability with the potential for high-quality publications and future funding opportunities.
- Some familiarity with academic management and/or cooperative networking
Preferred Requirements
- Certification for teaching in higher education (e.g., Associate Fellowship or Fellowship of the HEA)
