JUST IN! GES opens fresh recruitment
The Ghana Education Service has just opened recruitment for teaching staff. This is now active for application on its online job portal.
Certainly, the GES Promotions Portal is the official platform for the said recruitment. Applicant must have completed the mandatory National service and have passed the licensure examination.
So, interested applicants are to log on to this link of GES for subsequent applications.
Critical checks made by newsnowgh.com have it that this recruitment is strictly for trained teachers from the teacher training colleges.
However, College of education index number is a requirement. This will help exclude graduate teachers from applying.
Trainee teachers from across the teacher training colleges have been wondering if this affirms the alleged pronouncement made earlier by the Minister of Education, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh. It was all over that there will not be any such automatic postings but they will equally go through same job application process with others.
This surely is as part of the processes of treating products of colleges of education as from tertiary institutions. The system of colleges has now been upgraded to tertiary status.
As part of augmenting the teacher-students ratio at the senior high school, over 8000 graduate teachers were recruited into the senior high schools across the country. This came in support of the introduction of the double track system.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE SHOULD AN APPLICANT PAY MONEY TO ANYONE IN GETTING THIS JOB
