About the Role

As a Junior Analytics Engineer at N26, you will work at the convergence of analytics, governance, and data engineering. Job Duties

In this position, you will:

Support the integration and adoption of N26’s Data Governance tools.
Collaborate with the Engineering and Analytics teams to implement data access management rules.
Contribute to the development of data dictionaries and metadata standardization.
Work with domain experts to establish sources of truth and implement quality standards.
Enable structured governance through collaboration with product, data, and business teams.
Create scalable processes and automate tasks to minimize errors and improve efficiency.

Job Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

At least six months of hands-on experience in data analytics or data engineering.
Proficiency in SQL and automation of processes using Python scripts.
Basic knowledge of ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and data warehousing architectures.
Interest in data governance concepts and regulations.
Strong communication and collaborative skills across functional teams.
A structured and detail-oriented mindset, with a curiosity for improving data organization.

Nice to Have:

Familiarity with data governance regulations like GDPR and others.
Exposure to data engineering topics, such as pipeline architecture.
Hands-on experience with tools from our tech stack, including DBT and OpenMetadata.
