Judicial Service Opens Full Time Job Vacancies 2021

The Judiciary is an independent arm of State created to resolve legal conflicts according to law, impartially and efficiently to all persons without fear or favour, affection or ill-will.

We do this by the true and proper interpretation, application, and implementation of the laws of Ghana.

SITUATION VACANT

The Judicial Service of Ghana invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the following vacant positions;

1. DISPATCH RIDERS

  • Update the rider’s logbook on a daily basis with required information.
  • Ensure that the motorcycle is cleaned routinely or when the need arises.
  • Carry out daily inspection on the general condition of assigned motorcycle and must properly lock motorcycle when there is a need to leave it unattended.
  • Deliver and pick up the Service’s documents.

2. BAILIFFS

Successful candidates will be required to perform the following duties:

  • Execute Court Orders as Deputy Shett
  • Serve court processes.
  • Make entries into the Bailiff Process Book.

3. DATA ANALYST

  • Interpret data, analyse results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimise statistical efficiency and quality
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/ data systems.

4. CYBER SECURITY ENGINEER

Successful candidate will be required to perform the following duties:

  • Safeguard information system assets by identifying and solving potential and actual security problems
  • Protect systems by defining access privileges, control structures and resources.
  • Recognise problems by identifying abnormalities, reporting violations Implement security improvements by assessing cument situation, evaluating trends, anticipating requirements.

5. DATABASE ENGINEER

Successful candidate will be required to perform the following duties:

  • Maintain and enhance the performance of existing database
    programmes.
  • Assist database development teams in designing new database programmes that meet the Service’s data storage needs.

6. SOFTWARE ENGINEERS

Successful candidates will be required to perform the following duties:

  • Design and implement software systems for the courts
  • Maintain and improve existing codebases
  • Liaise with colleagues to implement technical designs

7. NETWORK ENGINEERS

Successful candidates will be required to perform the following duties:

  • Design, implement, monitor and manage the Local and Wide Area Networks of the Service to ensure maximum uptime for users.
  • Configure and install various network devices (eg routers, switches firewalls, load balances, etc.)

8. COURT CLERKS

Successful candidates will be required to perform the following duties:

  • Arrange processes filed in docket.
  • Write headings and index record books Make entries into the “Things
  • Issue warrants

9. RECORDS OFFICERS

Successful candidates will be required to perform the following duties:

  • Record, type court proceedings/directly transcribe court proceedings Type Court Orders, Letters of Administration and Judgments.
  • Paste Court Orders, Rulings and Judgments in their various books.
  • Type Cause List

10. Court Interpreters

Successful candidates will be required to perform the following duties:

  1. Interpret court proceedings from local or foreign languages to English language and vice versa
  2. Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time

11. CASHIERS

Successful candidates will be required to perform the following duties:

  • Make assessment and file court process processes period issue receives and money is paid into court or bank.
  • Make entries into cash book.
