Job responsibilities and duties:
• Cleaning and maintaining a private residence or commercial building to make sure that it meets any housekeeping and sanitation requirements in order to provides a comfortable space for residents or employees.
• Inspect rooms to determine need to clean and maintain them. Perform cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping floors, dusting and polishing furniture and equipment.
• Empty wastepaper bins and ensure that proper waste management procedures are followed, especially for kitchen waste
• Replenish supplies such as soap, shampoo, toilet paper and towels in bathrooms
• Wash and disinfect bathrooms on a regular basis by using the correct mixture of cleaning and sanitisation liquids.
• Clean and sanitise hallways, lobbies and offices.
• Clean and change sheets and towels; make beds; as well as wash, fold, and iron clothes.
• Carry out any other assigned tasks.
