POSITION: Finance Officer 

Job Description

Trust Holdings Limited is a forward-thinking organization dedicated to excellence and sustainable growth. We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Finance Officer to join our team in Accra. This role is central to maintaining our financial health, ensuring accurate reporting, and providing strategic insights that support informed business decisions.

As a Finance Officer, you will manage key financial processes, from budgeting and forecasting to compliance and stakeholder reporting. Your expertise will ensure the integrity of our financial data and contribute directly to the organization’s stability and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning and Analysis:

  • Develop, maintain, and update detailed financial models, forecasts, and annual budgets.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgets, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Reporting and Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with various departments to gather data and prepare comprehensive financial reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Create clear and insightful presentations that communicate financial performance and projections to leadership.

Compliance and Audit Coordination:

  • Ensure adherence to all relevant tax regulations and financial compliance guidelines.
  • Coordinate directly with external auditors to facilitate smooth annual audits and implement audit recommendations.

Process and System Management:

  • Utilize financial software tools proficiently to streamline accounting processes and ensure data accuracy.
  • Maintain robust internal controls and documentation to safeguard company assets.

Your Profile and Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • An HND or a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and management reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage, and expert-level skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of tax regulations and statutory compliance requirements.
