POSITION: Driver

Shalina Healthcare Ghana is seeking a reliable and responsible Driver to join our operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting passengers, products, and materials. Your primary focus will be ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining the assigned vehicle in excellent condition, and strictly complying with all traffic regulations and company policies.

Key Deliverables and Responsibilities

You will play a crucial role in our logistical chain, directly supporting our distribution and operational efficiency.

Safely operate company vehicles to transport passengers, healthcare products, or other materials as assigned.
Follow designated routes, delivery schedules, and specific instructions for each trip accurately.
Ensure the timely pick up and drop-off of all passengers, products, or materials, respecting appointment windows.
Load and unload items carefully when required, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, promptly reporting any maintenance needs or issues.
Keep the vehicle clean, properly fueled, and in good mechanical condition at all times.
Maintain accurate driving logs, trip records, and all necessary delivery documentation.
Adhere strictly to all national traffic laws, road safety regulations, and internal company policies.
Provide professional, courteous, and helpful service to all customers, passengers, and colleagues.

Essential Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

Candidates must possess a WASSCE Certificate or an equivalent educational qualification.

Hold a valid Ghanaian driver’s license of the appropriate class for the assigned vehicle type.
Have proven, verifiable experience as a professional driver; prior experience in a logistics, distribution, or healthcare environment is a strong advantage.
Demonstrate an excellent driving record with a deep understanding of road safety principles.
Exhibit strong time management skills, reliability, and a high degree of personal integrity.
Possess good knowledge of Accra and major regional routes to ensure efficient navigation.
Show basic vehicle maintenance awareness and the ability to perform minor checks.
Have strong interpersonal skills for professional interaction with team members and clients.
