POSITION: Accounting Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for a meticulous Accounting Supervisor to manage transportation-related financial activities in Accra. This position guarantees prompt processing of payments, precise data management within the Transport Management System (TMS), and adherence to financial controls for both domestic and international transactions.

Main Duties

• Review the Payment Request Tracking Form every day, confirming that payments are completed within 3 days (domestic) or 7 days (international).
• Check the punctuality and correctness of the Dump Basic Data Sheet and Distribution Basic Data Sheet.
• Keep carrier information current in TMS; configure system notifications for receipt uploads.
• Monitor and address differences found in the Payment Request Tracking Table.
• Consistently refresh TMS operation time markers and enhance system processes.
• Work together with the transportation and finance departments to improve payment methods.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regional financial regulations.
• Create regular updates on payment conditions and system efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar area.
• Over 5 years of experience in accounting/finance, ideally within transport/logistics.
• Expertise in TMS or comparable ERP systems.
• Proficient in Excel abilities for analyzing data.
• Robust skills in organization and problem resolution.
• Capability to function within strict time constraints.
• Proficiency in English; familiarity with Chinese is an advantage.
