POSITION: Medical Sales Executive

HCOWA is expanding its commercial team and actively recruiting a proactive and target-oriented Sales Executive. This role is ideal for a passionate sales professional eager to drive growth in the healthcare sector. Your Key Responsibilities in This Role:

In this position, you will be at the forefront of our market expansion. Your daily mission will involve several core activities designed to boost our presence and sales performance.

  • Drive Sales Growth: Aggressively promote and sell our comprehensive range of medical equipment and pharmaceutical products to a diverse network, including hospitals, private clinics, pharmacies, and key healthcare practitioners.
  • Identify and Capture Opportunities: Proactively hunt for new business leads and diligently follow up on potential client inquiries to convert prospects into confirmed sales and long-term partners.
  • Nurture Client Relationships: Build and sustain robust, trusting relationships with both existing clients and new contacts. Your focus will be on understanding their needs and ensuring exceptional service to foster loyalty and repeat business.
  • Educate and Demonstrate: Conduct compelling product demonstrations and provide clear, knowledgeable technical support to clients, ensuring they fully understand the value and application of our solutions.
  • Exceed Performance Targets: Consistently meet and surpass your assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets and key performance indicators, contributing directly to the company’s revenue goals.
  • Report and Inform: Prepare detailed weekly and monthly sales reports. Furthermore, you will provide crucial feedback from the field to management about market trends, competitor activity, and client insights to inform strategic decisions.

Required Skills and Experience:

To thrive in this fast-paced role, you will need a specific blend of location, education, and personal attributes.

  • You must currently live in Accra to ensure immediate availability and strong local knowledge of the territory.
  • You hold a minimum qualification of an HND or a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as Marketing, Sales, Biomedical Science, Pharmacy, or a related discipline.
  • Previous proven experience selling medical equipment, devices, or pharmaceuticals is a significant advantage and will strengthen your application.
  • You possess outstanding communication and persuasive negotiation skills, enabling you to effectively engage with healthcare professionals.
  • You have strong interpersonal abilities that allow you to connect with clients, understand their challenges, and present tailored solutions.
  • You are a self-motivated achiever with a clear record of meeting sales goals, and you work well both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
