POSITION: Logistics Coordinator
Forewin Ghana Limited seeks a skilled Logistics Coordinator to manage our import and export operations from our Accra base. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a logistics professional to oversee cargo movement, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder coordination while ensuring timely clearance and delivery of goods. Job Summary
The Logistics Coordinator ensures smooth cargo movement while maintaining strict regulatory compliance across all import and export activities. Consequently, you will coordinate documentation, supervise clearance processes, and liaise with multiple regulatory bodies. Furthermore, you will serve as the operational backbone connecting internal departments with external partners including shipping lines, freight forwarders, and government agencies.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate import and export logistics including shipment tracking and customs clearance
- Manage cargo release and delivery schedules efficiently
- Process Bills of Lading, Airway Bills, IDF, CCVR, and Bills of Entry
- Ensure compliance with Ghana Revenue Authority requirements
- Satisfy Food and Drugs Authority and Environmental Protection Agency regulations
- Comply with Energy Commission and Veterinary Services Directorate requirements
- Support applications, renewals, and monitoring of permits and licenses
- Provide daily operational supervision to logistics and documentation officers
- Review completed work and offer corrective guidance when necessary
- Perform similar operational duties personally to ensure continuity
- Maintain high standards across all documentation and clearance activities
- Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, clearing agents, and transporters
- Coordinate with terminal operators and regulatory authorities
- Manage loading, offloading, escorts, and delivery schedules
- Align activities with operational requirements and company policies
- Provide daily operational updates to the Head of Logistics
- Submit weekly reports summarising completed shipments and outstanding consignments
- Document operational challenges and material incidents promptly
- Report delays, system failures, and regulatory challenges immediately
Qualification Requirements
Educational Background:
- HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related discipline
Experience Criteria:
- Minimum three years relevant experience in logistics coordination or customs clearance operations
- Working knowledge of Ghana import and export procedures
- Familiarity with Free Zones processes and requirements

- Strong understanding of customs clearance procedures and documentation
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks governing import and export operations
- Proficiency in shipment tracking and logistics management systems
