POSITION: Small-Scale Fisheries Coordinator

Job Description
The Small-Scale Fisheries Coordinator will be based in the FAO Country Office in Ghana, reporting to the FAO Representative and HQ project management.
Responsibilities
The coordinator will oversee the implementation of the Small-Scale Fisheries project, ensuring alignment with work plans, developing the National Plan of Action for Small-Scale Fisheries (NPOA-SSF), and reporting to HQ.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating project activities with national partners and small-scale fisheries organizations.
- Developing and revising work plans.
- Monitoring progress and reporting to HQ.
- Supporting the establishment of a National Task Team for the NPOA-SSF.
- Collaborating with FAOGH colleagues and representing FAO at relevant events.
Minimum Requirements
- University degree in fisheries biology or social development.
- 5 years of experience in small-scale fisheries.
- Working knowledge of English.
- National of Ghana.
