POSITION: Cashier

Faith Group of Companies, a prominent leader in the Frozen Food, logistics, and real estate sectors, is seeking qualified and trustworthy individuals for Cashier positions at our branches. This opportunity is based in Tamale, and we will provide accommodation for the successful candidates.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

As a Cashier, you will be a crucial frontline representative of our business, ensuring smooth and accurate financial transactions.

Receive customer payments through various methods, including cash, POS terminals, and mobile money.
Issue accurate receipts and verify the correct pricing of all items before finalizing sales.
Balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift and submit precise daily sales reports.
Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently and troubleshoot minor issues.
Provide friendly, professional, and excellent customer service at all times.
Report any discrepancies, cash shortages, or system malfunctions to a supervisor promptly.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming cashier area.
Adhere strictly to all company policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Candidates must possess a minimum of a Senior High School Certificate coupled with relevant experience. A Diploma or Degree in a related field with similar experience is also acceptable
Be computer literate with proficiency in Windows-based applications.
Have basic knowledge of POS systems and prior experience in cash handling.
Demonstrate good numerical aptitude and clear communication skills.
Exhibit a high level of honesty, accuracy, and meticulous attention to detail.
Possess the ability to work effectively under pressure and during weekends or holidays as required.
Show a positive attitude and a strong commitment to good customer service.
