POSITION: Office Administrator 

Job Description

Eshcol Safety and Health Consult Ltd is a dedicated provider of safety and health solutions, committed to promoting secure and compliant workplaces across Ghana. We are expanding our support team and seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office Administrator to manage daily operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our office.

This role is ideal for an organized professional who excels at multitasking and values efficiency. You will serve as the operational backbone of our office, coordinating administrative tasks, supporting team members, and maintaining an organized work environment that enables everyone to perform at their best.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass a diverse range of administrative and operational duties:

  • Oversee daily office activities to maintain organization and operational flow.
  • Manage incoming phone calls and emails, directing inquiries to the appropriate team members.
  • Welcome clients and visitors warmly and guide them to meetings or the correct points of contact.
  • Coordinate schedules, travel arrangements, and appointments for senior staff.
  • Perform essential bookkeeping tasks, including recording transactions and preparing bank deposits.
  • Maintain and update key databases for financial, personnel, and client information.
  • Monitor office supply levels and place orders to prevent disruptions in daily activities.
  • Prepare professional reports, spreadsheets, and presentations as required.
  • Supervise administrative staff members and delegate tasks effectively when necessary.
  • Assist with new employee onboarding and support various HR-related functions.

Your Profile and Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • A Diploma, HND, or Degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and a systematic approach to work.
  • Demonstrated loyalty and a trustworthy character.
  • Strong listening skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage personal schedule and workspace for maximum efficiency.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

We are looking for a proactive individual with strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor. You should be able to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain confidentiality in all matters. Experience in bookkeeping or staff supervision is beneficial but not mandatory.
