POSITION: Warehouse Assistant
Company Profile
Electrical Switchgear Limited (ESL) is a company based in Ghana that manufactures electrical panels. We create and construct low-voltage electrical main distribution and control panels for industrial, commercial, and residential uses.
Position Summary
The main duty of the Warehouse Assistant is to assist with the overall logistics and inventory control operations inside the warehouse and guaranteeing the seamless execution and management of all warehouse tasks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Selecting and boxing MRNs
- Preparing items for retail customers at headquarters
- Warehouse maintenance – organizing and packaging.
- Executing transfers from one warehouse to another
- Accept items at the storage facility.
- Executing transfers from warehouse to retail
- Select and assemble Transfer and Sales Orders requests.
- Carrying out additional warehouse tasks as required.
OHSE DUTIES
- Familiarity with and compliance to all TAGG’s OHS&E protocols.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, regulations, and guidelines associated with the job.
- Identifying and reporting hazards
- Risk Evaluation
- Understanding the safe operation of all tools and equipment as relevant
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
- A Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSSCE/WASSCE)
- Having a minimum of 2 years of experience in a comparable position is a beneficial asset.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Capacity to adhere to processes and procedures meticulously.
- In good physical shape and capable of lifting and transporting heavy items and packages.
- An effective team member
- Outstanding customer service abilities
- Ready to accept overtime with little prior notice.
- Maintain an attentive and productive work ethic.
