Role Overview

As Senior Treasury Officer, you will support the Financial Controller in managing the company’s banking relationships and treasury operations. You will oversee payment processing, cash flow monitoring, and treasury reporting while ensuring strict compliance with financial controls. This position combines technical expertise with team leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Execute payment processing and monitor the daily funds position
Manage bank account administration and interbank transfers
Update bank and SAP master data, including signatory registers
Maintain cheque registers and oversee banking documentation
Support SAP ByD integration,s including MT940 and ISO20022 formats
Prepare comprehensive treasury reports and performance analyses
Monitor foreign exchange rates and negotiate favorable terms
Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses to support decision-making
Supervise and mentor treasury department staff members
Maintain and update standard operating procedures
Ensure audit readiness and compliance with internal controls
Implement process improvements for treasury operations

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
ACCA or ICA professional qualification preferred
5–6 years of progressive experience in treasury operations
Proven supervisory or team leadership experience
Strong proficiency with SAP systems and treasury modules
Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills
Expertise in cash management and banking operations
Knowledge of payment processing and reconciliation procedures
Understanding of foreign exchange mechanisms and risk management
