POSITION: Manager I Training
Role SummaryÂ
The Manager I, Training is responsible for assisting in the analysis, scheduling, and execution of all classroom training initiatives that support client programs, thereby ensuring optimal workforce readiness. This role involves fostering relationships with clients and various departments, which leads to cost reductions, ongoing performance enhancements, and increased revenue generation. Additionally, the position oversees the overall direction, coordination, and assessment of the department.
Essential Functions/Core Responsibilities
- Develop a team of skilled and knowledgeable professionals who are committed to continuous improvement for both the organization and themselves.
- Facilitate Train-the-Trainer sessions.
- Conduct quarterly individual meetings with Trainers.
- Collaborate with the Quality Supervisor and Operations to address consistency challenges.
- Create and manage the training schedule for consultants.
- Build strong working relationships with Training Manager(s), Training department staff, Operations, and other Concentrix managers, supervisors, and consultants.
- Oversee the maintenance and development of training workbooks and other instructional materials utilized by the Training organization.
Candidate Profile
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field from an accredited four-year institution, along with two to four years of pertinent experience, is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Capable of leading a team in multitasking, prioritizing, and adhering to deadlines for deliverables.
- Ability to mentor, coach, and guide a team of employees effectively.
- Self-motivated, with a strong sense of urgency, and able to perform well under pressure.
- Skilled in fostering professionalism and building relationships for both oneself and the team.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Flexibility in work schedule.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
Career Framework Role
This position involves receiving assignments that are task-oriented and supervising subordinates to establish priorities and ensure the completion of these assignments. The individual coordinates and oversees the daily operations of business or technical support teams, as well as production team members. They are responsible for managing a single or medium-sized line of business. Decision-making is influenced by established policies, procedures, and the overall business plan, with guidance and oversight provided by a manager.
The role includes motivating direct reports to meet defined metrics and business objectives through coaching, mentoring, and regular feedback. Typically, no more than 20% of the individual’s time is spent on the work being supervised. The position also entails addressing escalated issues and supervising non-exempt employees who generally perform either a single task or multiple closely related tasks.
