Position Title: Quantity Surveyor

Job Summary 

The Quantity Surveyor will help the Head of Building Technology manage all of Bricklane Development Group’s building projects’ contracts and finances.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and examine project costings for tenders (such as materials, quantities, labor, time, etc.), contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other paperwork with architects and engineers.
• Talk about contracts and work times.
• Give work to freelancers and keep an eye on their work at every step of the building process.
• Do risk management, value management, and cost control while building.
• Do a cost study for project work on repairs and maintenance
• Find, study, and come up with solutions to business risks
• Give help on claims and disputes based on contracts
• Look at the results and write in-depth progress reports
• Measure and price the work done on-site, keep an eye on bills, and set up payments.
• Keep up with the different building plans that are in use.
• Keep track of changes to the design and/or building work and make the necessary changes to the budget projections.
• Any other tasks given

Qualifications:

• Quantity Surveying and Construction Economics Bachelor of Science

Experience:

• At least three years experience in a similar job
