As the Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) Manager, it will be your job to support operational HSSE with your expert functional knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, create, implement, and check the HSSE management framework, standards, and culture of the company in offices, depots, and warehouses.
• Then, Manage all HSSE issues in the country, especially how the depots work and Workplace Health and Safety, in line with corporate, global, and regional standards.
• Using a TNA approach, plan and carry out HSSE training and raise awareness in the places where they are needed.
• Also, Develop documentation based on the HSSE management framework and review and audit it on a regular basis. Help the area HSSE make an area HSSE audit for your area of responsibility.
• Updates the HSSE risk profile and risk assessments, make sure that steps are taken to reduce risks, and runs risk workshops.
• Moreover, Investigate and report on HSSE incidents in a timely manner, including learning packs, and make sure that corrective actions are taken and closed.
• Audit vendors based on what the company needs and keep an eye on them to make sure they are doing a good job.
• Additionally, Use critical control points and especially visual control points to make sure the site and yards are safe places to work.
• Furthermore, Find, implement, and audit all applicable HSSE laws and standards to make sure they are being followed.
• Develop and check the country’s HSSE Management Plan to make sure that all site employees, contractors, visitors, and the community can work safely. This should be done in line with the area and region’s strategy for operation and the project.
• Make sure that important safety equipment and devices are maintained and available as required by law.
• Lastly, Help the Area HSSE Manager with any other tasks that come up.

Who we are looking for:

• Nebosh Diploma or Master’s in Health and Safety in the Workplace
• IRCA lead auditor certificate for ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001, with experience in IMS implementation and certification.
• A proven track record of delivering and maintaining Health, Safety, and Environmental Management Systems, along with specialization and certification in Warehouse operations and Dangerous goods, will be a plus.
• The ability to come up with and change plans to improve HSSE performance.
• Knowing how to use Microsoft Office well (PowerBi, MS office pack, AutoCAD, MS PowerApp, etc.)
• Accident investigation experience (Nebosh Incident investigation, ICAM methodology, etc)
• Excellent technical skills and the ability to solve problems on your own.
• English language skills
• Know the HSSE policies, standards, and laws of corporations and local governments
• Preferred minimum of seven years of experience with HSSE and quality issues,
• Relevant HSSE Project Management experience
• Membership in a professional group for safety, quality, or security is preferred.
