Job Title: Videographer and editor.

Media General is an equal-opportunity employer, and they are looking for people who are professional, creative, and know a lot about technology to work in their Digital Department.

Job Description

As a video content creator, the ideal candidate will be in charge of making interesting content for video and social media. He or she will record, make, and edit videos for the web, social media, and other places.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or professional certification in digital video production, photography
• Editing videos or a related field is preferred.
• Have worked in video editing or a related field for at least three years.
• Expertise in making online content, video editing, animation, and motion graphics. • Advanced knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Premiere Pro.
• As well as Photoshop and Illustrator, Adobe After Effects is also used.
• You need to know a lot about cameras, lighting, sound, and electrical equipment.
• Strong knowledge of the latest trends in video and the industry.
• It’s a plus if you have a lot of experience with retouching and photography (but not required)
• Ability to do more than one thing at once with little or no help. Strong ability to start new ideas, projects, or ways of doing things.
• Work on several projects at once and start projects on your own.
• Must be able to communicate well both orally and in writing.
• Be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment and have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
