Request for Audit Proposals Section 1: Request for Proposals (RFP): Population Services International (PSI) wants to hire a public accounting firm based in Ghana to do an independent audit of PSI Ghana’s financial statements from January 1, 2022, to December 31, 2022.
PSI plans to send this request for audit services to more than one qualified accounting firm. Bidders are asked to respond with their best (lowest) price at first, since they might not be able to change their bids later. All offers must have a fixed price and must be sent to pessel@psighana.org by email by Friday, February 10, 2023.
Technical and Financial Proposal
Audit firms that want to do the annual audit of PSI Ghana’s implementation of the PMI/VectorLink project for the financial year 2022 should send a proposal to PSI. As per ICAG standard, the qualifying firm must be registered in Ghana and in good standing.
The Auditing Firm’s proposal should include
- Methodology, scope, and approach for how the external audit will be done by the Auditing Firm.
- A profile of the auditing firm and a list of similar jobs it has done in the past.
- The make-up of the team, including a professional profile of each member.
d. Fees, including all direct and indirect costs that will be incurred to do the job. Ghana cedis must be used for fees.
PSI wants the audit to start no later than March 1, 2023, and the signed audit report to be done by April 10, 2023.
Skills or Experience Needed
In the auditor’s proposal, there should be a curriculum vitae for each proposed partner, manager, and a key member of the audit team. Please describe the audit firm’s experience with audit reporting under the International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI). Give examples of similar audits that have been done in the last three years. The auditors’ firm and staff must be separate from PSI and its affiliates, and the engagement letter must state that they are separate.
