Job Title: Marketing Officer

Role Purpose

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Marketing Officer to join our team. Your primary purpose is to strategically plan, coordinate, and execute marketing initiatives that elevate our centre as the preferred choice for events and retreats. You will drive brand awareness, generate leads, and build lasting relationships with key clients across various sectors.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

You will be the driving force behind our market presence and client acquisition. Your core responsibilities will include:

First, you will develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote our full range of facilities and services.
You will proactively market the centre to target audiences, including corporate entities, educational institutions, faith-based groups, and non-governmental organizations.
A primary duty involves managing all branding, advertising, and the creation of compelling promotional materials.
Furthermore, you will coordinate digital marketing efforts, including social media management, content creation, and online directory listings.
You will also organize and host promotional events such as open days and corporate site visits to showcase our offerings.
Additionally, you will conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and trends in the hospitality and events sector.
You will maintain a detailed client database, diligently follow up on inquiries, and support the booking process.
Finally, you will prepare regular performance reports and collaborate closely with the operations team to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.

Required Skills & Experience

Qualifications and Competencies:

A Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
A minimum of two years of professional experience in marketing, sales, or business development, preferably within the hospitality, events, or service industry.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and meet set targets.
Creativity, strategic thinking, and a customer-focused mindset.
