POSITION: Internal Audit Manager

Job Description

• Evaluating the risk exposure associated with achieving the organization’s strategic objectives.
• Evaluating information’s dependability and integrity, as well as the methods used to identify, measure, classify, and report on it.
• Evaluate the processes in place to ensure compliance with policies, plans, procedures, laws, and regulations that may have a substantial influence on the business.
• Evaluating asset protection methods and, if appropriate, validating their existence.
• Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency with which resources are used.
• Evaluating operations or programs to determine whether they are meeting established objectives and aims and are being carried out as planned.
• Monitoring and analyzing governance processes.
• Monitoring and analyzing the performance of the organization’s risk management processes.
• Evaluating external auditors’ performance and coordination with internal audit.
• Providing consulting and advice services on governance, risk management, and control as needed for the organization.
• Periodic reporting on the internal audit activity’s purpose, authority, responsibility, and performance in relation to its plan.
• Reporting on important risk exposures and control issues, such as fraud risks, governance issues, and other things as required or requested by the Board.
• Evaluating specific operations at the request of the Board or Chief Executive Officer, as applicable.

Required Skill or Experience

• Strong professional background, with a minimum of 7 years of auditing experience.
• Appreciable experience implementing control systems.
• Must be computer proficient and have demonstrated familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (mostly Excel).
• Proven understanding of basic accounting and bookkeeping methods and processes.
• Proven ability to pay close attention to detail.
• Must have great organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
