Broadway Pharmaceutical LTD is seeking a meticulous and organized Data Officer to join our team in Accra. This role is central to developing and implementing robust data management strategies, ensuring the integrity, quality, and security of our critical data assets. You will be responsible for upholding data governance standards and supporting informed business decision-making through reliable data analysis.

Job Description and Key Responsibilities

You will serve as the guardian of our data ecosystem, ensuring its accuracy, availability, and compliance.

Develop and implement comprehensive data management strategies and organizational frameworks.
Ensure consistent data integrity, quality, and availability across all company data assets and systems.
Monitor and actively enforce established data governance policies and procedural standards.
Collaborate closely with the IT department and other business units to maintain and optimize data systems.
Guarantee strict compliance with all relevant data protection regulations and industry standards.
Conduct regular data audits and systematic data quality assessments to identify and resolve issues.
Develop and maintain thorough data documentation, including metadata repositories and process guides.
Provide training and practical guidance to staff on proper data management practices and protocols.
Analyze and interpret data to generate actionable insights that support strategic business decision-making.
Proactively identify and recommend opportunities for improving data-related processes and system efficiencies.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must hold an HND or a relevant university degree in a related field.
Possess prior professional experience in a Data Officer, Data Management, or similar analytical role.
Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills alongside strong interpersonal abilities.
Have hands-on experience with MS Office applications and specialized data management or analysis programs.
Exhibit excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation for precise reporting and documentation.
Show exceptional attention to detail, a strong sense of confidentiality, and well-developed organizational skills.
Have the ability to stay consistently focused on assigned tasks and manage multiple data priorities effectively.
