Teach For All is looking for a Senior Associate on its Executive Management Team, which ensures the overall strategy, operations, and governance of the global organization. Specifically, this person will play a key role in supporting the organization’s Chief of Staff on key strategic and administrative projects. The Senior Associate will provide support across critical areas of the organization, including: Teach For All’s governance bodies (our Global Board of Directors and Network Advisory Council); CEO communications with internal and external stakeholders; legal and compliance management for the global network; executive management team operations (budget and travel research); and various other ad hoc projects.

The Senior Associate will be positioned centrally within the organization, working with a range of internal and external stakeholders. This person will be expected to produce high quality work in a fast-paced environment, digest information quickly, and operate flexibly in the face of emerging needs. This person is action-oriented, capable of working independently, and has strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Project Management & Execution

• To begin with, Support  planning and execution of organization-wide initiatives including organization-wide forums every six weeks, annual Intended Outcomes and Core Values  reflection cycles
• Then, Support CEO communications, including logistical help with external communications and stakeholder list management
• Also, Support management of Network Standards verification process, through which Teach For All ensures network partners meet the governance, financial, and ethical commitments
• Afterwards, Support Board and Network Advisory Council (NAC) meeting preparation including agendas, pre-work materials, key correspondence, prospective member research
• Lastly, Support Chief of Staff on various ad hoc strategic projects

Global Organization Legal & Compliance Management

• Support management of Teach For All’s brand management program, including tracking global registrations of local trademarks and domain names
• Also, Support management of OFAC compliance, including project managing running of OFAC checks according to schedule
• Draft key documents drawing from templates and with support/input from Chief of Staff
• Support research and execution of operationalizing Teach For All’s European charitable entity
• Finally, Coordinate with vendor and subgrants team to manage background checks

Operations Management

• Conduct strategic research on global travel options in order to help maximize the CEO’s time and energy
• And also, Serve as team’s budget manager

Requirements

• At least 2 to 4 years of professional experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Drive
• English verbal and written fluency required. Fluency in other languages is helpful but not required.

Compensation for Job Opportunity at Teach For All

Salary for this position is competitive and dependent on country of hire and prior work experience and includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Work Authorization

Candidates for this position must possess local work authorization in order to be considered.

Travel and Hours

Given that we work across different time zones, some non-traditional hours for early or later calls are an expectation of this role.
