POSITION: Chief Executive Officer
The bank was established in 1982. The headquarters are in Adansi-Akrofuom, in the Ashanti Region. The bank now operates two agencies: Akrofuom Agency and Atonsu Agency. The strategy for improving the Bank’s infrastructure and superstructure includes five (5)-year predictions.
This will include expanding its buildings with modern architectural designs, furniture, and fittings, as well as opening new branches. The implementation of this plan is projected to increase deposit mobilization, grow credit and investment portfolios, and hence boost earnings.
The Akrofuom Area Rural Bank Limited in the Ashanti Region is looking for a skilled candidate for the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Key Tasks
- Setting vision and strategy: In addition to defining your organization’s mission, vision, and values, you will live them and establish goals to achieve them.
- Allocating resources: As CEO, you will determine how to deploy a company’s resources (money, personnel, and time) to achieve business goals.
- Managing operations: You will oversee day-to-day operations to ensure that they are in line with broader strategic goals.
- Building and directing the executive team: As CEO, you will pick and manage your company’s top leadership, ensuring that they operate effectively together.
- Communicating with stakeholders: As the company’s primary spokesperson, this function entails keeping both internal and external stakeholders informed.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum qualifications: MBA (Finance Option), Bachelor’s Degree, or Banking Diploma (ACIB).
- Minimum of 10 years of work experience, with 5 years in a management position in rural banking, a Universal Bank, or a savings and loan institution.
Age: no more than 55 years
Location: Accra.
