POSITION: Technicians
Hiring skilled tradespeople for various positions
Are you enthusiastic about workmanship and want to make a difference with your skills? We are looking for experienced and ambitious candidates to join our team in the following trades:
1. Block laying and Tiling
- Responsibilities: laying blocks and tiles with precision and durability, ensuring smooth and level finishes, and adhering to safety regulations.
- Requirements: previous experience with block laying and tiling, great attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively.
2. Carpentry and Furniture Works
- Responsibilities: designing, constructing, and repairing wooden structures, cabinetry, and furniture. Use a range of wood types and finishes to get high-quality results.
- Requirements: Carpentry skills are required, with preference given to experience in furniture making. Must have an understanding of woodworking tools and materials.
3. Welding and Fabrication
- Responsibilities: Weld and repair metal structures to ensure strength and stability. Must adhere to design specifications precisely.
- Requirements: Certified welder with experience in metal fabrication. Knowledge of welding equipment and safety procedures is required.
4. Plumbing and Gas Technology
- Responsibilities: installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing and gas systems. Ensure that systems are safe, functioning, and satisfy regulatory requirements.
- Requirements: A licensed plumber with experience in gas technology, good troubleshooting skills, and knowledge of local safety requirements.
5. Painting
- Responsibilities: Apply paints, stains, and varnishes to surfaces for high-quality finishes on interior and outdoor projects. Prepare and repair surfaces as necessary.
- Requirements: A skilled painter with a good eye for detail, knowledge of colour mixing, and experience with a variety of painting techniques.
Qualifications
- Education/Training: National Certificate II
- Working Experience: 5 years.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
