Job Title: Back Office Manager
About the company
Yes Chef Company Limited is a Ghanaian company that serves food and is dedicated to providing high-quality dining and hospitality services to both individual and corporate clients.
Job Purpose
The Back Office Manager will be expected to lead, motivate, and organize a dedicated kitchen team that provides excellent service and high-quality food throughout the entire catering operation while always following Health and Safety rules.
Important Duties or Roles
- Help run the kitchens of all Yes Chef restaurants on a daily basis.
- Health department inspections are second nature to you. Make sure everything runs smoothly and do a variety of things that make the operation work well and make sure it’s profitable.
- Strong knowledge of how to make food, how much it costs, and how to keep track of it.
- Uphold the ideas, values, and ways of doing things that make Yes Chef what it is.
- Set the tone for safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards at Yes Chef.
- Set up clear ways for all managers to talk to each other.
- Make sure that all quality and operating standards are met.
- In charge of managing money every day
- Responsible for always running the business in a professional and honest way.
- Assess work-related problems in a professional way and make good decisions.
- Make sure that both guests and team members are safe and secure.
- Train and develop all of the restaurants’ new management staff.
- Managers should take part in coaching, counseling, training, and development.
- Talk to Finance and Ownership often to make sure company policies and procedures are followed.
Skills or Experience Needed
- 1 year or more of experience in a similar job or as a manager in the food service industry. Able to work without being watched and meet deadlines.
- Good at talking to people
- Knowing how to move and control stock
- Be careful and make sure that operating procedures are followed and created.
- Well-organized and focused on getting services to people
- Self-driven and determined
- Customer service with a lot of heart
Pay: Salary is up for discussion.
