POSITION: Business Line Manager – Attachment Tools Division (Mining)

Job Description:
Sandvik is looking for a driven and seasoned Business Line Manager to oversee our Attachment Tools sector in the mining industry. The perfect applicant will possess a demonstrated history of sales success in the mining sector, along with robust business development and strategic planning abilities. We seek individuals with experience in managing high-profile mining clients and the capability to enhance sales and increase market share. In Sandvik’s operational approach, the Business Line Manager holds primary responsibility for sales performance and establishes sales objectives.
The position will report to the Vice President of Sales Area Africa for the Sandvik Rock Processing Business Area. However, since Sandvik functions within a matrix structure, there will inevitably be responsibilities to fulfill according to the Attachment Tools Division strategy.
Main Duties:
- Create and execute strategic business plans to meet sales goals and expand market presence.
- Direct and oversee the Attachment Tools department, making sure it aligns with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Recognize and seek out new business prospects in the mining and quarrying sector.
- Establish and nurture solid connections with important clients and stakeholders.
- Observe market dynamics and competitor behaviors to guide business strategies and enhance business development efforts.
- Work together with diverse teams to enhance and innovate products.
- Create and deliver periodic reports on business results and market situations, and take part in essential Division and Sales Area Management meetings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or an associated discipline. An MBA is advantageous.
- Demonstrated sales expertise in the mining sector, with a solid history of meeting sales objectives.
- Robust skills in stakeholder and cross-functional team management.
- Outstanding skills in communication and negotiation.
- Strategic planner with a focus on achieving outcomes.
- Significant travel preparedness needed (Valid passport & driver’s license are essential requirements)
