POSITION: Warehouse Audit Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and meticulous Warehouse Audit Supervisor to oversee hardware and chemical storage operations at our Takoradi facility. This critical role focuses on ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency across all warehouse functions through systematic auditing and continuous improvement.

As a Warehouse Audit Supervisor, you will implement and maintain rigorous audit systems while championing 6S management principles. Your work will directly contribute to operational safety, inventory precision, and streamlined logistics within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass comprehensive oversight of warehouse operations:

Develop and implement robust warehouse audit systems aligned with 6S management standards for optimal organization and safety.
Conduct regular inspections and area evaluations while supervising corrective actions and verifying improvement outcomes.
Audit inventory management practices to ensure complete consistency between physical stock, system records, and storage locations.
Oversee proper labeling, identification, and secure storage of materials, with special attention to hazardous substances.
Perform scheduled and impromptu inventory checks, identify discrepancies, and coordinate with relevant departments for resolution.
Prepare detailed audit reports, analyze data trends, and recommend strategies for enhanced efficiency and compliance.
Ensure strict adherence to occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations within warehouse operations.
Collaborate with procurement, production, and safety departments to optimize material handling and storage processes.
Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement among warehouse staff.
Submit weekly and monthly performance reports to senior management, highlighting key findings and strategic recommendations.

Your Profile and Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum five years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics auditing, or inventory management.
Strong understanding of 6S principles, warehouse best practices, and compliance auditing methodologies.
Exceptional attention to detail with proven ability to maintain data accuracy and integrity.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing capabilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and office software for data analysis and reporting.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
