Job Opening at KAAF University College
Job Title: Nursing & Midwifery Lecturers
Job/Role Summary:
- Teach undergraduate and graduate midwifery students by planning, managing, and leading lectures, tutorials, seminars, and student-led groups.
- Involvement in evaluating students and in making and evaluating plans for teaching and evaluating students
- Visiting students on placement to build good relationships between students, academia, and the clinical area
- Serving as a personal tutor and link lecturer to help students with their studies and personal lives
- Taking part in academic work, such as research projects, journal publications, and peer review talks given at conferences and workshops
- Serving on educational committees like the Health and Conduct committee to keep Queen’s University and the midwifery profession at high standards.
- Help with university administration, such as recruiting students
- Projects that reach out to the community, like Open Days
Qualification Required & Experience
- Ph.D. in Nursing or Midwifery
- A master’s degree in nursing, midwifery, public health nursing, or a similar degree with a large number of publications
Remuneration: Very attractive and negotiable
Location: Accra
