POSITION: Cloud Operations Manager

Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing the cloud operations team, enhancing and streamlining the processes that connect software development and IT operations. Make sure the team is functioning according to industry standards, emphasizing reliability, security, operational excellence, cost efficiency, and performance effectiveness. You will be in charge of developing and overseeing CI/CD pipelines, promoting automation, and making sure that infrastructure is treated as code.
This position necessitates leadership in overseeing cross-functional teams and aligning technological strategies with business objectives, along with robust management of the team’s daily operations.
Are You a Person Who
- Oversee the creation, execution, and ongoing enhancement of CI/CD pipelines.
- Work together with development and operations teams to guarantee seamless releases and integrations.
- Automate and optimize procedures and workflows, guaranteeing scalability and dependability.
- Lead and coach a team of DevOps engineers, offering support and feedback on their performance.
- Automate the deployment, oversight, administration, and response to incidents.
- Utilize infrastructure as code (IaC) with tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Supervise the oversight, incident handling, and problem-solving for all systems.
- Automate the processes of deployment, monitoring, management, and incident response.
- Observe site reliability and performance while resolving service problems.
- Automate the scaling of infrastructure to accommodate swiftly growing demand.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a similar discipline.
- Over 5 years of experience in a role focused on DevOps or systems engineering.
- Demonstrated expertise in overseeing teams and spearheading DevOps transformations.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Github
- In-depth understanding of cloud services (AWS)
- Familiarity with container management tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
