ROLE: Akuapem Twi Teacher
Roles and Responsibilities
- Plan lessons that will help students learn and teachers teach Akuapem Twi. Set up class time according to the lesson plans.
- Teach kids how to use tools, materials, aids, and books correctly
- Keep track of the teaching resources, tools, and equipment in the classroom
- Use interpersonal communication skills to get to know your kids.
- Keep the peace in the school by being patient and knowing how to solve problems.
- Use the results of assignments, quizzes, and tests to check in on a student’s growth every so often.
- Take corrective steps to improve how well students can learn.
- Develop, implement, and keep an eye on successful work plans, course delivery, assessments, student surveys, and student data that are in line with school policy.
- Keep up with national trends in education and Akuapem Twi, and make changes to the way you create and teach your curriculum to reflect these.
- Responsible for looking out for the well-being of students and making sure they are safe, as well as bringing up any issues according to school policy.
Required Skills or Experience
- Ability to use teaching methods that are in line with school rules
- Ability to make learning activities based on projects.
- A strong knowledge of the national curriculum and the Ghanaian language
- Organizational and speaking skills that are above and beyond
- Fluently speak the Akuapem Twi language.
- Ability to plan, direct, control, and coordinate the tasks that students do to learn.
- Ability to work with others to plan and teach. Ability to track how well kids are learning and come up with ways to help them.
