POSITION: Human Resources Executive

Position Overview
This is a permanent on-location position for a Human Resources Executive situated in Accra. The HR Executive will handle HR operations, create and execute HR policies, and supervise employee relations. Daily responsibilities involve hiring, orienting new staff, maintaining employee records, ensuring adherence to labour regulations, addressing employee concerns, and fostering a positive work environment.
Duties
- Oversee and revise HR documentation, such as the Employee Handbook, Standard Operating Procedures, Policies and Guidelines, Service Agreements, and Employment Contracts.
- Submit the annual EEO-1 Report to the US Department of Labour to ensure adherence to EEO regulations.
- Help staff with performance evaluations and offer advice on employee benefits programs.
- Serve as a guide to the HR team and provide counselling support when needed.
- Supervise and implement administrative procedures within the HR department.
- Ensure adherence to state, federal, and local labour and employment regulations.
- Oversee employee hiring, meetings, and dismissals.
- Address and examine employee grievances fairly and without bias.
- Inform the company CEO or higher-ups regarding HR-related issues.
- Guarantee the uniform enforcement of the organization’s HR policies.
Requirements
- Skills in HR Management and HR Operations
- Expertise in Employee Relations and executing HR Policies
- Thorough understanding of Human Resources (HR) procedures.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Capacity to manage sensitive information with careful judgment.
- Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
