POSITION: Driver

Job Description

Flowitec is looking for a reliable and experienced driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be in charge of properly operating a company vehicle that transports goods, parcels, and/or passengers. The ideal candidate should have a clean driving record, great navigation abilities, and the ability to operate autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle Operation: Use a company vehicle safely to move goods, parcels, and/or passengers.
• Route Planning: Plan and optimize routes to ensure on-time and efficient delivery.
• Cargo Handling: Ensure that cargo, commodities, and packages are loaded and unloaded safely and effectively.
• Passenger Care: Provide great customer care to passengers, assuring their safety and comfort while traveling.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in excellent operating order, and report any faults to management.
• Compliance: Follow all applicable laws, regulations, and corporate policies pertaining to driving and transportation.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records for deliveries, routes, and vehicle upkeep.
• Safety: Ensure safety for passengers, cargo, and other road users.

Required Skill or Experience

• License: A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Education: O-level, SHS, or equivalent
• Experience: Two or more years of driving experience, particularly in a similar business or setting.
• Physical Capabilities: Lifting, carrying, and manipulating large objects (up to 50 pounds).
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong navigation skills: The ability to use GPS and understand maps.
• Time Management: The ability to efficiently manage time in order to make timely deliverables.
