POSITION: Security Officer
Job Description
The Planned Parenthood Association of Ghana (PPAG) is a non-profit organization and a member of the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF). We provide education and services related to Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH). We are looking for dedicated individuals to apply for open positions in our team.
- Reporting To: Facility Head
- Location: Family Health Clinic, Accra
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor the office area to make sure no unauthorized people enter.
- Protect lives and property.
- Ensure all entrances are secure and keep keys locked after work hours.
- Turn off all lights, electrical appliances, and water taps when they are not in use.
- Keep track of visitors to the office after work hours.
- Stay at your post until someone else takes over.
- Help other security officers when needed.
- Write reports by recording important information and events.
- Report any suspicious activities or security problems.
- Prepare annual work plans and performance reviews.
- Perform any other related tasks assigned by your supervisor.
Required Skills or Experience:
Qualifications:
You need to have at least an SSCE/WASSCE or similar qualification and the ability to read and write, along with two years of work experience. Basic knowledge of security services is required. A Diploma or similar qualification and basic computer skills are additional advantages.
