POSITION: Content Moderator
Job Role Summary
As a Content Moderator I, Advisor with English, you will be instrumental in protecting the user experience on a prominent worldwide digital platform. Your main duty will be to assess and moderate various types of content (text, image, video, ads) to confirm it complies with community guidelines and platform regulations.
You will serve as a protector of digital integrity, making certain that user-created content adheres to legal, ethical, and platform-specific standards, all while promoting a secure and respectful online atmosphere.
Crucial Duties/Core Responsibilities
- Supervise and evaluate user-created content (UGC) to confirm it complies with platform regulations.
- Rapidly and precisely make content moderation choices in accordance with defined standards.
- Address flagged or reported material appropriately across different categories.
- Ensure impartiality and uniformity when dealing with delicate or explicit content.
- Elevate complicated or unclear situations to higher-level moderators or policy specialists.
- Offer insights on policy deficiencies and new developments for ongoing enhancement.
- Work together with team leaders, support teams, and policy managers to ensure moderation standards are upheld.
- Guarantee adherence to confidentiality, data protection, and ethical guidelines.
- Follow designated schedules, encompassing rotational shifts and deadlines for performance objectives.
Required Qualification
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree (any discipline) with a solid academic performance.
Experience:
- Entry-level acceptable; must show learning capability and self-motivation.
- Prior experience in content moderation, trust & safety, or customer support is beneficial.
