Artiste manager, Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson otherwise known as Bulldog in Showbiz has expressed his displeasure and thus has disclosed he has lost interest in the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs).

Bulldog explained that since they are one of the top award schemes for showbiz in the country, they think they are the Alpha and Omega of Ghana Music.

The manager of Shatta Wale, Bulldog while speaking in an interview with Halifax on Okay Fm, pointed out that he is no longer interested in the award scheme because of how the organizers of the awards conduct themselves.

He said that the organizers of the VGMAs, Charter House practically do not listen because he has been saying a lot of things to them but they block their ears to him. He added that at the time he was working with them, he did not work with much pleasure around them.

Bulldog talked about how the organizers of the VGMA award scheme annually exploit musicians in the country.

He disagreed with the statement once made by the CEO of charter House, Madam Theresa Adoaye about asking the industry to rise above Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy at the time when the two was punished with a ban following their fracas at the 2019 edition of the VGMAs.

Bulldog however added that he respects them for doing their business—but he won’t use his time to watch the event.
