Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and implement engineering and building services maintenance programmes across managed premises
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, health & safety regulations, and contractual performance standards
- Lead and line-manage supervisors, engineers, and maintenance teams across multiple sites
- Oversee specialist medical engineering systems, including medical gases, pressure vessels, and decontamination equipment
- Act as nominated officer for Legionella management, energy efficiency, sustainability, and environmental programmes
- Manage asbestos compliance, registers, correspondence, and remedial actions
- Allocate and control human, financial, and physical resources to achieve service targets
- Support emergency response activities, approved out-of-hours work, and project delivery
- Produce estate policies and contribute to strategic planning and governance initiatives

Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities engineering, estates management, or building services leadership
