Position: Environmental Journalist (Intern)
As an Environmental Journalist Intern, we want someone who is passionate and driven to join our team. As an intern, you will have the chance to work with experienced environmental journalists and learn valuable skills in reporting, writing, and research.
Responsibilities:
- Help find information for and write news stories, feature stories, and other content about the environment
- Go to events and conferences about the environment and write about them.
- Talk to experts in the field and look at other sources.
- Check the facts and make sure the content is clear and accurate.
- Work with other members of the editorial team to come up with ideas for stories for radio and TV shows.
- Help with public relations and social media as needed.
Qualifications
- I’m very interested in journalism and environmental issues
- Good at writing and talking to people
- Ability to work both alone and with a group
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Be willing to learn and open to criticism
- Having experience in journalism or writing about the environment is helpful, but not necessary.
