Established in 2002, ICI is a humanitarian foundation that promotes partnership among the chocolate and cocoa industry, cocoa-producing governments, civil society, and NGOs to support the elimination of child labor in cocoa-growing communities.
Our head office is in Geneva, Switzerland and we have operations in Ghana and Ivory Coast with National Offices in Accra and Abidjan.
ICI has developed a Child Labour Monitoring and Remediation System (CLMRS) that allows industry partners to manage responsibly the risk of child labour in their cocoa supply chain. In line with the Ghana Child Labor Monitoring System (GCLMS), the system is based on the presence of Community Facilitators (CF) within cocoa-growing communities who raise awareness on the issue of child labor; identify cases and implement remediation activities. INVITATION FOR PRICE QUOTATION
The INTERNATIONAL COCOA INITIATIVE (ICI), operating in cocoa-growing districts is funding payments of contract for the Procurement of Works of 1 NO. 10 seater water closet toilet with drilling and mechanization of the borehole at Anwona and Ayokoa in Adanse Asokwa district. The ICI, therefore, invites Sealed Price Quotation from eligible Contractors detailed as follows:

How To Apply
A contractor is required to submit a quotation for only one project and should demonstrate capacity in terms of logistics and personnel to deliver on time.
The Bill of Quantity may be obtained at the ICI office in Accra during working hours from Wednesday 17th November to Friday 19th November 2021. The potential bidders are required to produce the following alongside their price quotation:
- Valid Ministry of Water Resources, Works and Housing Registration Certificate
- Valid Registrar General’s Certificate
- Valid SSNIT Clearance Certificate
- Valid Tax Clearance Certificate
- Valid Labour Clearance Certificate
- Valid Water Resource Commission Drilling Licence
- Performance Bonds from GLICO Insurance Company
- Detailed work plan to commence the project on 30th November 2021 and end on March 30th, 2022.
The bidding will be conducted through the procedures specified in the ICI Procurement Policy. The quotations must be expressed in English and Ghana Cedis (GH¢) as official language and Currency respectively. Completed quotation must be delivered to the address below:
